BJP puts Congress -led government in Karnataka on ‘corruption’

New Delhi, September 28 (IANS) BJP leader Amit Malviya hit the Congress for alleged corruption in Karnataka on Sunday, claiming that the ruling party’s promise has proved hollow to offer transparent rule.

While attaching a digital news item to the Karnataka contractors, Malavia wrote on X, accusing the Congress government of corruption: “Remember the fake rate card Congress spread before the Karnataka elections, accusing 40 percent commission under the BJP? He had no evidence, but people bought them in lies and voted for them.

BJP’s Information Technology Cell Head said: “In a letter dated 25 September, Karnataka State Contractors Association (KSCA), has written to CM Siddaramaiah that corruption in many departments under the ruling Congress has really doubled compared to previous BJP regime. A lot for Congress.

Earlier this month, Malavia welcomed an American decision to investigate billionaire George Soros for protests, indicating that the opposition and his extended ecosystem could also come under investigation with operators tied to controversial billionaires.

This was not the first time Malavia has demanded to connect opposition leaders to Soros. In June, the BJP leader accused the opposition to the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for following George Soros’ playbook to spread electoral chaos in India.

Allegedly train his guns on opposition leaders when the Soros’ playbook is allegedly mimicked and benefited from its funding network, the BJP leader said in a post on X: “Initial signs suggest that the investigation can expand to the network associated with foreign funding – including Soros -associated operators in India.”

“If this is true, it means that the major figures in the opposition and their extended ecosystem can come under the purview. They have been in trouble in India for the last 11 years – the expedition of discord and reducing stability. If this investigation follows the facts, their disintegration campaign will fail.
