Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday said the BJP has nothing but “action” to come to power. The chief minister took a jibe at former chief minister Jagadish Shettar and BJP state president BY Vijayendra’s remarks that many Congress leaders would join the saffron party, saying that India The PPP knows how to buy MLAs by paying them money.

“They (BJP) know nothing but ‘operation’. Do you know what operation means? It means buying people off by paying money. They cannot come to power by winning the trust of voters. They just (represent to the public) ) pay and buy them,” Siddaramaiah said.

Sheetal recently returned to the BJP after serving in Congress for less than a year. He had joined the Congress party last year when the BJP refused to allow the RSS stalwart to contest the assembly elections.

The chief minister claimed that the BJP came to power through Operation Lotus twice in the past when BS Yediyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai were chief ministers. According to him, the Karnataka BJP has been coming to power through “action” since 2008.

“When did the BJP get a complete majority in the state? Did they ever win with a solid majority, be it 2008, 2013 or 2018? Absolutely. The Congress, on the other hand, won with a majority in 2013 and 2023 The Congress won by votes. The Congress came to power with the mandate of the people. They (BJP) came to power through ‘action’,” the chief minister claimed.
