BJP ensured to include tribal heroes in Manchaar Dham, syllabus: Madan Rathore

Jaipur, September 18 (IANS) responding to allegations of syllabus changes in the Rajasthan course of Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, BJP state president Madan Rathore clarified that ‘Any lesson related to Manchdh Dham or major tribal personalities has been removed’.

In contrast, the BJP government has ensured that the magnificent history of tribals is taught to future generations.

Sharing a copy of the syllabus, Rathore reported that the story of Mangad Dham (first class 4) and the story of Kalibai (first class 7) has now been included in class 5 course to provide better continuity and relevance.

Rathore said that Ashok Gehlot’s statement was not only misleading, but also reflected his disappointed political mentality. He commented that “Gehlot ji has a long habit of spreading lies and rumors to create confusion in the society”.

He said, “The Congress has always done vote-bank politics in the name of tribals, but when the BJP government is really respecting their sacrifice and preserving their history, it makes Congress leaders uncomfortable,” he said.

Highlighting the contribution of the BJP government, Rathore said that if any party has respected the pride and culture of tribal society, then it is the Bharatiya Janata Party. All these initiatives are proof of BJP’s commitment to include tribal heroes in the syllabus and to organize ‘National Memorial Status’ to organize a large scale programs in their memory.

He said: “The reality is that Gehlot ji is not concerned about the history or pride of tribal society. His only concern is his own political future. Due to repeatedly spreading lies, he is trying to confuse the people of Rajasthan. But people know the truth and do not come in the trap of Congress.”

Earlier, on Wednesday, addressing the media at the state BJP office, Rathore greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long, healthy and rich life on the occasion of his 75th birthday.

He said that Prime Minister Modi’s dream is till 2047, “India should emerge as a fully developed nation, occupy a leading place in the world. Under his leadership, the country is increasing new heights”.

Rathore said that the launch of Seva Pakhwara reflects the collective resolution of the party workers, which dedicates themselves to service, which affects positive energy in society.

Highlighting the Prime Minister’s vision, Rathore recalled PM Modi’s recent address at Dhar in Madhya Pradesh, where he emphasized that it is a “New India that eliminates terrorists in his homes and refuses to threaten”.
