Jaipur, October 6 (IANS) In Anta Assembly seat of Rajasthan, bypoll is scheduled to be held on November 11, while the result will be declared on November 14, according to an official notification released on Monday.

Candidates can file nominations by 21 October. There will be an inquiry on 23 October, while the candidates can withdraw their nomination by 27 October.

Kanwarlal Meena vacated the seat after being convicted in a 20 -year case. Kanwarlal Meena MLA Post was abolished in May, when he was convicted in a 20 -year -old case of pointing a pistol at an SDM. Elections should be held within six months of the seat vacancy.

In the 2023 assembly elections, Kanwarlal Meena, a supporter of former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje, defeated Pramod Jain Bhaya, a former Congress -led government minister, on this seat.

Bhaya is considered a prominent Congress leader in Hadoti.

According to officials, the Congress can again give Pramod Jain Bhaya a ticket for this seat.

The BJP has a long list of contenders including former MLAs.

There were a total of 226,227 voters in the ANTA assembly constituency, including 115,982 male, 110,241 females and 4 other category voters.

Since the BJP government was formed, the BJP won 5 out of 7 seats in Baypol. Congress and Hanuman Beniwal’s party, RLP suffered significant losses in by-elections.

Before the by -election, the Congress held 4 out of 7 seats, leaving it with only one.

Last Year, by-music was help in khinvsar, deoli-uniyara, jhunjhunu, dausa, chaurasi, ramgarh, and salumbar.

BJP won Khinavasar, Deoli-Auniara, Jhunjhunu, Ramgarh and Salambar.

In last year’s by -election, the Congress won only Dausa seat, while the BSP upheld the Chaurasi seat. Hanuman Beniwal’s wife lost the Khinavasar seat on the RLP ticket. BJP’s Revantram Dang won from here.

Jagmohan Meena, brother of Agriculture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena, lost the Dausa seat. The results of Khinavasar and Dausa are still the subject of political discussion.

The results of the Anta by -election will not affect the health of the government, but it will shape the perception.

According to analysts, a win by the BJP in Anta seat can be presented as public support for the government’s work.

Local residents believe that losing the seat will give the opposition an opportunity to launch aggressive.
