New Delhi, November 14 (IANS) Union Heavy Industries and Steel Minister HD Kumaraswamy described the NDA’s victory in the Bihar Assembly elections as a record-breaking victory in independent India.
Speaking to the media at his residence in Delhi on Friday after the announcement of Bihar results, Kumaraswamy said, “The people of Bihar have taught the Congress party a proper lesson for creating a false story of ‘vote theft’.”
He claimed that the JD(S)-BJP alliance is ready to form the next government in Karnataka with full majority.
He said, “The present Congress-led government in the state is already struggling due to the strong anti-incumbency wave. For the last two and a half years, the party has wasted its time only on leadership tussles. People are disillusioned. Though they had given 136 seats to the Congress with great expectations, now they are disappointed and waiting for the elections. They are mentally prepared to teach the Congress a lesson.”
He said that the NDA alliance is strong in Karnataka. All the leaders of BJP and JD(S) are working together.
He said, “Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, we will work to achieve record breaking results in Karnataka like Bihar. We will work in such a way that we leave behind Bihar’s record as well.”
Kumaraswamy said that Congress has lost faith in the democratic system and is engaged in spreading lies and misinformation by fabricating stories.
He said, “The enlightened voters of Bihar have responded strongly and have given a strong slap to the party.”
He said that the people of Bihar have given unprecedented support to the development-oriented governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his determination to realize a developed India by 2047.
He said, “I congratulate the people of Bihar for this.”
“The strong NDA alliance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has achieved a record victory never seen before in post-independence India,” he said.
He further said that the people of Bihar have asked Congress to stop raising slogans of ‘vote theft’.
Kumaraswamy said, “In the last assembly elections, the Congress had claimed that they would win 136 seats in Karnataka. How can they say so with such certainty? How can they predict the future? Or did they win earlier with the help of the Election Commission? The KPCC president had made such statements even before the results came out, what did it mean? Congress leaders should stop making arrogant comments.”
