Patna, Nov 14 (IANS) With the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) registering a massive victory in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, outgoing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is all set to take oath for the 10th time.
The results have stunned the Grand Alliance, with only a few of its candidates managing to retain their seats.
NDA has performed strongly in the entire state and in Patna district the alliance has won 11 out of 14 seats.
Only Bhai Virendra (RJD) from Maner, Ramanand Yadav of RJD from Fatuha and Sandeep Saurav (CPI-ML) from Paliganj have managed to retain their hold.
In Patna district:
Bakipur: BJP’s Nitin Naveen defeated RJD’s Rekha Kumari Gupta by 51936 votes.
Patna Sahib seat: BJP candidate Ratnesh Kumar defeated Shashant Shekhar of Indian National Congress by more than 39000 votes.
On Fatuha seat: RJD’s Ramanand Yadav defeated LJPRV’s Rupa Kumari by 7992 votes.
Phulwarisharif (SC): Janata Dal United’s Shyam Rajak is leading over CPI-ML’s Gopal Ravidas by 13844 votes after 24 rounds. A total of 34 rounds were counted on this seat.
Flood: BJP’s Siyaram Singh Yadav defeated RJD’s Karanveer Singh Yadav by more than 25000 votes.
Maner: RJD’s brother Virendra defeated LJPRV’s Jitendra Yadav by more than 20 thousand votes.
Bakhtiyarpur: LJPRV’s Arun Kumar won in a tough contest against RJD’s Anirudh Kumar. The victory margin was only 981 votes.
Mokama: JDU’s strong leader Anant Singh won the election from RJD’s Veena Devi by 28206 votes. Anant Singh is currently in judicial custody in the Dularchand Yadav murder case.
Danapur: After all 30 rounds of counting, BJP’s Ramkripal Yadav defeated RJD’s Reet Lal Rai by 29133 votes. Reet Lal Roy is currently lodged in Bhagalpur jail.
Digha: BJP’s Sanjeev Chaurasia won against CPI-ML’s Divya Gautam by a margin of over 55,000 votes.
Bikram: BJP’s Siddharth Saurav defeated Congress’s Anil Kumar by 5106 votes.
Paliganj: CPI-ML’s Sandeep Saurav defeated LJPRV’s Sunil Kumar by a margin of 6655 votes.
Draft: JDU’s Arun Manjhi defeated RJD’s Rekha Kumar by 7843 votes.
Kumhrar: BJP’s Sanjay Kumar won from Indradeep Kumar Chandravanshi by 47525 votes.
