The budget was presented by Finance Minister Bijendra Yadav and is likely to be passed on Friday, the last day of the current session.
An amount of ₹51,253 crore has been earmarked for annual expenditure on the schemes, while ₹40,462 crore is for establishment and committed expenditure.
According to details of the proposed expenditure on the schemes, ₹21,000 crore has been allocated for the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, under which ₹10,000 was paid to each woman.
Another ₹1,885 crore is for the old age pension scheme, whose beneficiaries get ₹1,100 per month. In August the payment quantum was increased from ₹400 to ₹1,100.
