It is advisable to confirm your name and polling station in the voter list before reaching the polling station. You can check voter list and polling station list on ECI website.

Know the timing of voting at your polling station.

Carry relevant documents like Voter ID card with you before leaving for the polling booth. If you do not have a Voter ID card, you can also use other identity documents approved by ECI for voting.

Follow the restrictions and rules at the polling station and wait for your turn to vote.

After casting your vote, verify the output of the VVPAT machine connected to the EVM. In case of any discrepancy, you can report to the presiding officer.
