The political battle in Bihar ended on Friday, November 14, as the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won a clear majority and crossed the 200-mark in Bihar Assembly Election Results 2025.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the largest party with 91 seats, and its ally Janata Dal (United) or JDU, led by current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, came second with 83 seats. Another ally, Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) or LJP, performed brilliantly for the alliance.

Other BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and national president JP Nadda, praised the performance of the contesting leaders and described the victory as a verdict of Bihar voters in favor of “good governance” and a victory for development in the state.

Here’s what all the leaders said on social media platforms:

PM Narendra Modi: “Good governance, development, spirit of public welfare and social justice have won. My deepest gratitude to the family members of Bihar, who blessed the NDA with a historic and unprecedented victory in the 2025 assembly elections. This resounding public mandate will empower us to serve the people and work with new determination for Bihar.”

Home Minister Amit Shah: “Heartfelt salute to the people of ‘Bihar Bhoomi’, protectors of knowledge, hard work and democracy. This tremendous mandate given by the people of Bihar to the NDA is the people’s seal of approval on the committed service of the NDA for development, women’s safety, good governance and welfare of the poor in Bihar… This mandate is for the resolve of ‘Developed Bihar’.”

And I salute the people of the state.” Of Bihar.”

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari: “The public has approved the all-round development in Bihar!… Have once again put their seal of approval on the work done by the NDA government with the basic mantra of all-round development. I congratulate the people of Bihar, Janardan and express my gratitude to them…”

LJP’s Chirag Paswan told reporters, “This victory has put a full stop to the misconceptions that the opposition had tried to spread, be it the SIR issue or the allegations of ‘vote-stealing’. Rahul Gandhi often used to make personal remarks on my Prime Minister… Biharis are also known for their manners. Bihar and Congress never understood that every time they use foul language, they are moving towards self-harm.” Are…”
