Sitamarhi, November 8 (IANS) A big fan of Union Minister Chirag Paswan was seen in Sitamarhi on Saturday. Shubhash Paswan, a resident of Hajipur, who came to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Sitamarhi, has got Chirag Paswan tattooed on his chest.
Speaking to IANS, he said, “Chirag Paswan is taking forward the vision of ‘Bihari First’.” His father had dedicated his life to serving the people of Bihar.
He said, “So I wanted to show that Chirag Paswan continues to receive immense love from the people.”
IANS also spoke to some people present at the rally.
One of them said, “You can see the record number of people who came here to attend PM Modi’s rally. PM Modi has always cared about the people of Bihar. This time NDA will win with an overwhelming majority.”
Another attendee said, “I am very happy to attend this rally. NDA will return to power in Bihar with a massive victory.”
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the RJD and Congress, saying the bumper voting in the first phase of Bihar assembly elections has given them a 65-volt shock.
Addressing a rally in Sitamarhi, the Prime Minister said there is widespread discussion that the youth and women of Bihar have voted decisively for development and the NDA.
PM Modi said, “In the first phase of voting, the supporters of Jungle Raj have got a shock of 65 volts. The youth of Bihar have chosen development, they have chosen the NDA. The sisters and daughters of Bihar have also ensured a record victory for the NDA.”
PM Modi alleged that RJD’s campaign messages reveal their mentality.
“Just listen to the songs and slogans of these supporters of Jungle Raj. On the platform of RJD, innocent children are being told that they want to become gangsters. Should the children of Bihar become gangsters or doctors?” PM Modi asked.
He said the NDA is providing books, computers, sports equipment and opportunities in education and start-ups – not guns.
“Jungle Raj means guns, cruelty, bitterness, bad behavior and corruption,” PM Modi said. He said leaders like Karpoori Thakur and Bhola Paswan Shastri had envisioned social justice and development, but that era was derailed during RJD’s tenure.
