New Delhi, 5 October (IANS) Union’s atmosphere, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupendra Yadav on Sunday inaugurated the first ‘Namo Biodiversity Park’ of Rajasthan in Alwar, which was intended to motivate citizens to adopt environmentally friendly lifestyle, an official said.
A statement said that Union Minister Yadav said that Rajasthan’s first ‘Namo Biodiversity Park’ will not only increase greenery in Alwar, but will also prove to be effective in cleaning the air.
In a message on X, the Union Minister said, “Today, ‘Naamo Bayodaersity Park’ located in Pratap Bandh in Alwar, was inaugurated with a plantation at Sri Ki company, which was done with a plantation in the company of Shri @Sanjay 4India1ji, Minister in the Rajasthan Government.”
The Union Minister said that the newly developed park named ‘Naamo Van’ is considered as an important green lung for the region. It aims to increase local greenery and contribute to cleaner air, while also promoting environmental awareness among visitors.
He said that biodiversity park will encourage those who come to visit the ‘Namo Van’ park to adopt an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
Beyond its ecological benefits, the park is designed to motivate citizens to adopt environmentally friendly and durable lifestyle, making it an important step towards promoting more public participation in conservation efforts, stated in the official statement.
The initiative is a major milestone in advancing Rajasthan’s Green Infrastructure and strengthening India’s widespread commitment to biodiversity conservation and climate action.
Last week, he planted a million tree at Kanha Shanti Vanam, headquarters of the non-profit organization ‘Heartfulness’ on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
In this program organized to mark the 70th birthday celebrations of Dai, the Dil Guide and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, former President Ram Nath Kovind also attended.
The Union Minister said that while education, health, gender justice, equality and availability of resources are very important, the world is also present for biodiversity.
He said, “We should have a balanced ecosystem, which is very high at work under the deep vision of the midwife.
The Union Minister said that the Indian technology of yoga asana is associated with nature.
