As India kicked off the Bharat Mobile Expo on February 1, the entire mobile industry chain came together to showcase their unique products. Leading two-wheeler company Royal Enfield also participated in the expo and launched its first flex-fuel motorcycle, the Classic 350.
The company is yet to reveal its launch plans for the bike. However, some reports suggest it may soon drop some specific details. Once launched, the motorcycle will run on a blend of ethanol and petrol. again! The brand has not clarified the exact proportion of gasoline and ethanol used in the vehicle.
Design and styling
Talking about the design and on-road appearance, the car looks identical to its fuel-powered counterpart, apart from a new color scheme. The flex-fuel car shares the same fuel tank as the Classic 350 and has a similar seating arrangement, side profile, fenders and even the front fascia. It is expected to come with a halogen headlamp setup with sweet chrome accents covering the rounded bezels of the headlamps.

In terms of features, the company is expected to carry over some of the top features of the Classic 350 in the flex-fuel variant. The list includes power start buttons, spoked wheels, similar forks and shock absorbers, and more.

As far as the power system is concerned, it will continue to use the trustworthy 350cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The unit will produce maximum power of 20bhp at 6100rpm and maximum torque of 27Nm at 4000rpm.
