In a major push into the electric vehicle segment, largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki will soon launch its first high-tech electric product in India. The brand has showcased the concept car called eVX at the ongoing Bharat Mobile Expo, giving an idea of how it will look in the future.
This is the same concept shown at Auto Expo 2023 and Japan Mobility Show 2023 last year.

The company is reportedly expected to release the electric car later this year. However, the brand has not disclosed the specific time. Ahead of its official launch, the upcoming electric SUV has been spotted during its testing phase in India, revealing its overall design in production mode.

Although it is completely covered in camouflage, it is spotted with a similar headlight setup as the concept Avatar, a massive hood for an aggressive road look, and automatic ORVMS with integrated indicators.

According to reports, the electric vehicle will be developed on a dedicated platform, offering good quality and reliability. Reports also suggest that the eVX will be equipped with a 60kWh battery pack to provide a smooth driving experience and decent power on a variety of terrains.
It is said that this electric SUV has a maximum cruising range of about 550 kilometers on a single charge, making it ideal for long-distance travel and daily commuting. However, the company has yet to comment or share a specific statement.

In terms of price range, the model is expected to enter the Indian market with a starting price of Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 23 cr (ex-showroom).
