Berlin:
The prosecutors said on Wednesday that they accused the Berlin Passek care doctor with the murder of 15 patients, alleging that they worked out of “lust” for murder.
The 40 -year -old suspect is accused of killing 12 women and three people between September 2021 and July 2024, using a deadly cocktail of seditives.
The German press report recognizes the suspect as Johannes M, but the prosecutors have not released a name.
The Berlin Prosecutor’s office said in a statement, “The doctor allegedly” a anesthetic and a muscle relaxed for his patients … without their knowledge or consent “.
The relaxer “made the respiratory muscles paralyzed, causing breath arrest and died within minutes”.
The victim, who was receiving all care at that time, was between 25 and 94 years of age.
On five occasions, the prosecutors alleged that the suspect “set fire to his apartment to cover these murders”.
On one occasion, the suspect is accused of killing two patients on the same day.
On the morning of July 8, 2024, he is alleged to have killed a 75 -year -old man at his home in Central Berlin district Crazberg.
“A few hours later” he allegedly hit again, a 76 -year -old woman died in a neighboring nuclear district.
The prosecutors said that the suspected effort to incite the crime site failed when the fire did not occur, the prosecutors said.
“When he paid attention to this, he allegedly informed a relative of the woman, claiming that he was standing in front of his apartment and no one responded to his ringing,” he said.
‘Lust for murder’
On another occasion, the suspect is accused of alerting emergency services himself “out of fear of finding themselves.
The suspect “the 56 -year -old victim had already claimed to start the revival efforts”, which was initially kept alive by the rescue team, but died in the hospital three days later.
The list of allegations against the suspect has increased in length and severity since his initial arrest in August.
The suspect was originally placed on suspicion of murder in connection with four deaths.
The prosecutors later stated that in November they were considering the alleged murders as cases of murder, adding four more deaths to the list of allegations.
The prosecutors said at the time, “There was no purpose to kill people other than the task of killing the accused.”
The suspect had nothing but “lust for murder”, he said.
The charged sheet, increased to cover 15 suspected deaths, was accused of excluding the murders with “Malis above”.
The prosecutors said that they were demanding “lifetime professional sanctions” and called upon the suspect to be closed in “preventive preventive”.
Ongoing investigation
A special team of investigators had identified a total of 395 suspected cases, which needed to re -investigate the allegations against the doctor.
In 95 cases, an initial suspicion was confirmed and initial proceedings were initiated. Another 75 was still being evaluated.
During the investigation, 12 were already excluded, of which five belonged to the victims listed on the allegations.
It was planned to move forward soon.
The allegations against the doctor are remembered that another case is currently being tried in Germany, alleging that a nurse is accused of killing nine patients.
The nurse, whose test was opened in March, alleged that a total of 26 patients have been injected with a large dose of sedative or painkillers, resulting in nine deaths.
The prosecutors on the case being heard in the western city of Achare said that the suspected was inspired by the desire to reduce its charge in the night shift and considered themselves “master of life and death”.
