He shared some of the lessons Agnes taught her friends and family and praised her for showing her fans that the internet, including online gaming spaces, is not just for young people.

And while she couldn’t speak the words, her eyes reflected “the same kindness, the same intelligence and the same quiet strength” that had always been there. She then expressed her gratitude to fans who reached out to her grandmother online.
“Even when she couldn’t respond, she listened to you. She knew she was loved. Not just by her family, but by millions of people she never even met. It meant more than we could ever explain,” he wrote. “His story doesn’t end here. It will continue forever in the realm of the Internet.”
“Thank you for giving her a second family online. Thank you for making her feel seen, valued and celebrated in a world that often forgets people her age. She meant more to us, to you, and to you than she ever realized,” he concluded. “You completed the game of life with a perfect score, and your player is 2, George [Agnes’ late husband] Waiting for you to make another start.”
