Bella Hadid reflects on post-modeling days: ‘Not wearing a fake face’

After stepping away from her modeling career for good, Bella Hadid is feeling freer than ever.

“Now for the first time, I’m not wearing a fake face,” Gigi Hadid’s younger sister said.

Hinting that she is enjoying her own freedom, the business mogul said, “If I don’t feel good, I won’t go. If I don’t feel good, I take time out for myself. And that’s what I did.” Never had the opportunity to do or say this before.”

“Now when someone looks at me in pictures and says, ‘I look happy, I’m really happy,’ I feel better,” Hadid continued.

“My bad days were now my old good days,” she described.

Over the past decade, Hadid has become a globally recognizable force in fashion, gracing the covers of multiple editions of Vogue and walking the ramp for top designers including Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Chanel and others.

However, the top model put her career on hold to focus on her mental and physical health and has opened up about her battle with Lyme disease.
