A former on-air presenter for Toronto-CP24, who filed a human rights complaint against Bell Media, says he and his former employer have resolved the dispute.
In a statement posted on social media, Petricia Jaggarnoth says the matter has been resolved for the “mutual satisfaction” of both sides.
Jagarnath lodged a complaint with the Canadian Human Rights Commission in October 2022, which soon after leaving his job at the Bell Media -owned Toronto Breaking News Outlet.
He accused his 11 years of systemic discrimination in 11 years to do part -time work for the network and said that he was passed for constant promotion.
A spokesperson of Bell Media did not respond to the request of the comment immediately.
Jaggarnoth’s social media statement does not disclose the terms of disposal, and says that there will be no other comment about it.
