Toronto – A BC billionaire who wants to buy Hudson’s bay pattas is pushing back on the landlord’s claims that he will not be able to run a successful business in his places.
In the new court documents, Ruby Liu says that concerns are misled and it is so confident in his plan that he will individually guarantee the first year of fare, he will have to pay him.
Liu wants to buy 25 former bay pattas and three other people who bought them in the mall have bought in a new department store with entertainment, food and entertainment places.
Zamindars say their leases do not allow for such uses and even if they did, the deadline and budget of Liu are very unrealistic, which requires the amount of work and require to repair their assets.
Liu says that he does not think the spaces need to be repaired. If they are necessary, she says that her company will do them, even if they are more than its current budget.
To compete with the landlord’s claim that he does not have a supplier ready to give goods in his store, he provided letters from the court to brands such as Conyer and Northern Reflections that say they are ready to work with him.
