BBC Racing commentator John Hunt broke in an emotional interview for the first time about the murder of his wife and two daughters.
In a heartbreaking chat with his daughter Amy, Mr. Hunt said that his wife, Carol, and two daughters, Hannah and Lewis, leave behind a “legacy of love”.
26-year-old Kyle Clifford killed his former-partner Louis Hunt, 25, his sister Hannah Hunt, 28, and his mother Carol Hunt, 61, in a quiet bridge-day-sack in Bushi, Heartfordshire last year.
Speaking publicly for the first time after the murders, Mr. Hunt revealed that he still talks to him every day and his wife and daughters lived the life of “complete happiness”.
He told BBC: “The moment I wake up, I call each of them a good morning.
“Sometimes I say loudly to Hannah and Lewis, ‘Girls, I can’t be with you, I am with your mother at this time’.
“As I have closed my eyes at night, I also chat with them. They are very close to me all the time.”
Mr. Hunt and Amy decided to speak for the first time as they do not want to define their family’s deaths. He also said that preliminary reporting of deaths was wrong, and it joined his grief.
Amy said, “I want to breathe life in my mother, Hannah and Lewis as a completely round people.”
The BBC 5 Live Horse Racing Commentator said he also dismisses reports that were in a derogatory relationship with Lewis Clifford.
He said that the family was very close and talked all the time, shared everything with each other.
