popular Barstool Sports Personality Cody “Beef” Franke has died at the age of 31, his colleagues have shared.

“Really, really, really sad. Really sad,” Katz said. “It’s devastating. I don’t know what else to say.”
The cause of death could not be immediately known.
Barstool Founder Dave Portnoy posted a tribute to Franke on Twitter, also calling the news “sad”.
“You’ll never find a better true man than Beef. It’s hard to even process this right now. Just another cruel reminder that tomorrow is never promised and to live each day to the fullest. #RIPBeef.”
Franke joins bar stool Earlier this year after a career as a professional golfer. He spent eight years as a member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America, where he was a two-time PGA Section Award winner. Franke then became Barstool’s head golf professional. four play Podcast, which shared a statement after announcing the news of his death.
“Cody truly loved the game of golf. He spent most of his life selflessly helping others improve and enjoy the game,” the statement said in part.
“Watching golf bring joy to people brings joy to them, and that infectious personality was felt by everyone who met him. He was universally known as the nicest man in the world.
“May his soul rest in peace as a classy man we knew,” the statement concluded.
Just days before his death, Franke posted one of his signature tip videos on Instagram.
The caption reads, “Tip Tuesday is here!! Not every pin location has a green light! Know when to attack and when to brake.”
That post has now become a place for fans to share their condolences, as tributes continue to pour in following the news of his passing.

PGA The Tour wrote on Twitter: “Beef was an incredible member of the golf community. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.”
Former PGA Tour player Colt Nast said on Ax: “Oh man. It hurts. RIP Beef! A true gentleman.”
Model and golf instructor Paige Spiranac Commented: “Heartbreaking news. He was a very kind and good man.”
One fan wrote, “So sad. He made videos and pods every time he played,” while another agreed, “Such passion. A positive force in the game.”
