Bank Holiday 2024: Banks will remain closed today in these two states; check list here

Are banks closed today? Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti or the Prakash Parv of the tenth Sikh Guru will be celebrated on January 17 this year. This day will be celebrated as the 357th birth anniversary of the last Guru of Sikhism. In such a situation, banks will remain closed in Chandigarh.

On the other hand, banks in Tamil Nadu will remain closed on January 17 on the occasion of Uzhavar Thirunal.
