Ladies and gentlemen, the band is back together again!

After a massive explosion in 2025, it appears that President Trump and Elon Musk have patched things up and are working together again.

Elon confirmed he had a “lovely dinner” with POTUS and FLOTUS last night and said 2026 is going to be amazing!

So…the big question on everyone’s mind is obviously: What did they talk about?

Although no official reports have come out, I have some guesses.

A: Starlink in Venezuela.

Two: SpaceX in Venezuela. I wonder how Elon and SpaceX might have been involved in the Venezuela raid. Was Elon involved? Did SpaceX boost the Space Force? Did Elon help turn off all the power in the town?

Three: go to Mars. I believe President Trump wants to set every record and do everything possible to go down in the history books, so teaming up with Elon to go to Mars would be a great accomplishment.

Four: On a related note, Elon has publicly stated that NASA will assist him in returning to the Moon. I have my doubts about whether we’ve ever been there before, but I hope we get there and I’ll keep a close eye on it.

Five: medium term.

Elon Musk is preparing to financially support Republican candidates in the upcoming midterm elections, reports circulating online say, which aides believe could help President Donald Trump garner stronger support for the second half of his term.

The development has drawn additional attention after Musk was seen meeting with JD Vance, sparking speculation about deeper political coordination ahead of 2026.

Supporters say the reported participation signals new momentum and resources for Republicans as the midterms approach, potentially reshaping the political landscape heading into the next phase of Trump’s presidency.

Obviously, a single White House appearance at the dinner – no matter how “official” – is not proof that Elon has decided to reconnect with President Trump.

Even less so that they have decided to open their considerable pocketbooks for the midterms in favor of Republican incumbents.

But as I said, there are multiple reports coming from mainstream media sources that say the exact same thing.

I remember hearing rumors that the Vice President had gone to work trying to bridge the rift at the beginning of the year.

Now, it is being reported that Vance’s work in that direction may have been successful.

And this led directly to Elon’s appearance at the White House in November.

But it also led to Elon’s reported decision to funnel cash to Republican midterm campaigns, as has been reported over the past few days. Washington Post,

Vice President J.D. Vance was doggedly working the phones, trying to quell the rebellion among them. Elon Musk announced his intention to form a third party this spring, turning a simmering feud against the MAGA movement into an all-out war.

I would argue that it played a large role in reorienting them to favor President Trump’s ability to govern well with a strong congressional majority in the final two years of this term.

But look at what Elon himself said a while back…

When he reposted the same video from November with a report from an account that read:

,Elon Musk is reportedly fully funding Republicans to help President Trump take back full control in the November midterms.

Elon’s response certainly sounds like confirmation that he is “absolutely” ready to fund Republicans during the upcoming midterms!:

I’m going to go out on a limb and call this a confirmation that Elon fully intends to throw his monetary weight behind pro-Trump Republicans in this year’s midterms!

While researching this story, I realized that the proverbial handwriting was actually on the wall weeks ago.

For most of the time it remained suppressed in the news cycle.

Check this out – JD Vance wasn’t the only top Trump official to meet with Elon to heal the divide, according to a report from about two weeks ago.

Apparently, President Trump’s right-hand man Chief of Staff – Susie Wills – also dined with Musk at the Vice President’s residence…

Which shows how focused the President’s team is on getting Elon back for the good of the country.

In hindsight… I wonder – was he simply holding back, trying to avoid giving his full hand?

Was President Trump trying to maximize the potential explosiveness of Elon’s renewed push against Democrat rivals during the midterms?

The reporter asked whether Elon Musk is back in President Trump’s “circle of friends.”

To which the President minimized the rift between them, almost casually dismissing it as a small matter on electric cars.

But at the end of his answer, President Trump seemed quite enthusiastic about Elon.

In hindsight, it seems as if President Trump was not ready to publicly announce that he and Elon were taking action against the “radical left” ambitions of the Democrats!

At any rate, by sharing that story today, Elon Musk essentially telegraphed that he is willing to go “all the way” to prevent Democrats from threatening President Trump’s mandate!

Here we are, just one day into 2026.

And the midterms are already heating up.
