Chennai Super Kings returned to the race for the IPL 2024 playoffs by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 78 runs in the IPL 2024 match on Sunday. Sakshi Dhoni, wife of veteran wicketkeeper batsman MS Dhoni, was present at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai and her Instagram story during the game has gone viral. She wrote, “Please end the game early today @ChennaiIPL baby is about to arrive… contractions have started, request – to be aunty.”

Talking about the match, Ruturaj Gaikwad scored a brilliant 98 runs and fast bowler Tushar Deshpande took four wickets to give CSK a comprehensive victory. With the win, CSK brought themselves back into the top 4, boosting their playoff chances, while SRH suffered their second consecutive defeat of the campaign.
