Scaling a roof of a house to get out of police can be thought of a fugitive – but you can’t think that it will cross the brain of a lamb.
However, this week, a sheep and three sheep are being chased by the authorities, which was guilty by climbing a two -storey property tile in Kumbriya.
The fours were being chased after a farmer escaped from the farm – but before reaching the top, managed to avoid catching by climbing a lower part of the roof behind the property.
Amused firefighters then arrived to save the animals, not looking from top to bottom before taking their picture.
A crew of the penrith fire station used the ladder and reached the poles to safely bring the sheep down, which later returned to the ground from where they came.
Darren Wright, manager of the fire station, said, “We are asked to protect a lot of animals, but there were sheep on one roof.” BBC Radio told Cumbria,
“We could not tell why there would be sheep in that area in the first place and how they met on the roof too – there was a lot of confusion.
“All this became clear when we realized that the roof behind the property went down near the ground and the sheep used it to move away from the police.”
The picture of the sheep on the roof was shared on its Facebook page by the Penrith Fire Station, which attracted many light-hearted comments.
