Assam minister meets the victim’s initiative in Kashmir, checks Rs 5 lakh

Srinagar, June 1: Assam Agriculture Minister Atul Bohra visited the family of Adil Hussain Shah on Sunday, who was killed by terrorists in Pahgam on 22 April to provide condolences from the Assam government.

Bora also presented a check of Rs 5 lakh to Shah’s family as a relief from the Government of Assam.

Talking to reporters later, Bora said that he would meet Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and beg the case of the bereaved family, who lost his only bread winner.

“We wanted to meet the Chief Minister (Omar Abdullah), but he is out of the station,” he said.

Bora said that the whole world condemned the terrorist attack and the Narendra Modi government got widespread support on its retaliation.

“We are all one and we have to work together,” he said. (Agencies)
