As ‘Suryavanshi Shri Ram’ inspires Modi, Sitharaman adds Ayodhya temple-like scheme in her budget

In the interim Budget 2024 presented ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promise to reduce electricity bills for the poor after the Pran Pratistha ceremony at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya1 January 22nd.

The finance minister added that free solar power will be provided to power distribution companies along with surplus power, saving households up to Rs 18,000 per year.
