Martin Odegaard: ‘You need to win differently’
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard scored one of two goals today to help the Gunners return to the top of the Premier League.
After winning, he said in an interview with Sky Sports: “It was a tough game at the end of the day, but I thought we played a good game. We dominated from the start and they gained some momentum towards the end but we got the important three points.
“I thought we played really well and controlled the game, but we could have done better and not let them score like they did. They gained momentum after they scored and got their confidence back, but we defended well.
On David Raya’s save: “I thought it was their only chance other than a goal and it was a great save.
About the score: “I’ve been waiting for that day and I’ve worked hard in training so I’m happy.
“The last few games [close]but you have to be able to win in different ways. We need to keep moving forward, keep building, keep winning. “

Brighton pushed forward and nearly found themselves in trouble again when Martinelli headed home and Saka looked clean, but Dunk somehow came back and raced in for a corner. Excellent defense!
If Saka scores, VAR may say he is only Offside but we’ll never know. Anyway, from Arsenal’s point of view, everything is on the right side
