Takehiro Tomiyasu out for Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

The report has claimed that Tomiyasu will miss the London derby for Arsenal due to the injury that he suffered against Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening.

The Japan international was substituted early in the first half of the match against Sporting in North London.

Goal have reported that the right-back has withdrawn from the Japan squad for the upcoming internationals and will certainly not play against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Blow for the Gunners

Now, Takehiro Tomiyasu is not guaranteed a place in the Arsenal starting lineup, but the right-back is an important player in the team.

Ben White is playing as a right-back this season, and you never know if the Englishman is going to suffer a injury in the coming weeks.

Described as “a versatile defender with great defensive qualities, high technical ability and composure on the ball” by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on the club’s official website in August 2021, the 24-year-old is a very good and capable right-back.

And he will be missed by Arsenal.
