Arrest police in connection with riding-cheer sexual harassment

The Toronto police arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with a ride-sharing sexual harassment in Yonge Street and Aglinton Avenue West Area.

Investigators say that after midnight of August 9, a man was hired by the victim and a friend through a ride-share platform. The man allegedly left the friend and offered the victim to run the house for free. The man allegedly sexually harassed the victim before leaving him.

Investigators say the victim had no injuries.

Police arrested 28 -year -old Nishu Bansal from Brampton, and accused him of sexual harassment.

He was produced in court on August 14 at the Toronto Regional Bail Center.

The police have not identified that the ride-share platform Bansal was used, but they say they are worried that others may suffer.
