BJP leader Ravinder Raina appreciated the Indian Army’s response to the Pakistan Army’s unexpected small weapons, which firing on the night of 1-2 May in Kupwara, Baramulla, and Poonch districts as well as the LOC (LOC) on the night of 1-2 May in Nowshera and Akhnoor regions in Jammu and Kashmir.
He also visited the villages of the village adjacent to LOC (line of control) in Jammu and Kashmir.
“I have visited villages in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir, which are adjacent to the locker. Pakistan is continuously violating the ceasefire by firing in Indian territory. Earlier, the Indian Army effectively responded to the small arms of Pakistan in the URI and Akhnoor regions in the region along with LoC in Kupwara district.
Meanwhile, security forces in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir have increased their vigilance after the terrorist attack.
Joint search operations are going on in various forest areas including forests and border areas to track terrorists. Vehicle check posts are installed with security forces, which thoroughly investigate suspected vehicles on highways and roads.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Director General of Military Operations of India and Pakistan spoke on the hotline to discuss the unprotected ceasefire violation by Pakistan, according to defense sources.
Sources said that India warned Pakistan against the violations of Pakistan along with the Line of Control (LOC) and the international border by the Pakistan Army. (AI)
