Armed Forces Secretary Al Kearns, a former Marine, slams Donald Trumpof Wrong advice to keep NATO troops away From the front lines in Afghanistan.
Mr. Kearns served and led four tours in Afghanistan and was awarded the Military Cross in 2011. The US president’s claims are “completely ridiculous”.
“We bled, sweated and cried with my American colleagues, but not everyone went home,” he added.
Kearns also invited anyone who believes Trump’s claims to meet with him and some of the families of the more than 400 British personnel killed in Afghanistan.
