Apple’s ‘Let Loose’ iPad event today: How to watch the livestream

Apple’s first hardware event of the year will be held later today. The digital-only event, titled “Let Loose”, will be livestreamed through Apple’s official platforms. As usual, Apple hasn’t given any clues about the hardware categories that will appear during the event, however, we expect new products to be announced at the keynote. The main event may focus on iPad models and related accessories. The iPad Air is expected to be offered in two sizes and the iPad Pro is expected to come with an OLED display and M4 chip.

Specific details about the launch event have not been released yet, but it is speculated that Apple will focus on the iPad Pro and iPad Air this time. The former is expected to bring notable upgrades including an OLED display, an updated M3 chipset, a new rear camera module, and a landscape-oriented front camera. The new iPad Pro may have thinner bezels and come in “glossy and matte screen versions.” It may also support MagSafe wireless charging.

The iPad Air is expected to follow a dual-size strategy and come in a 10.9-inch and a larger 12.9-inch screen sizes. It can run on M2 chip.

Apart from the new tablet, we expect the company to also introduce accessories related to the new iPad. The event invitation includes images of a hand holding a pencil and motion graphics, suggesting that the presentation may focus on the Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard. The Apple Pencil may include a squeeze gesture feature while the Magic Keyboard may get an aluminum build and a larger trackpad.

Apple’s next scheduled event will be its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in 2024. It will begin on June 10 and Apple may introduce new features and updates for its operating system during the event.
