Apple WWDC 2024: From AI-powered iOS 18 to Mac Studio, everything we can expect to see this year

By | Published | No Comments

It’s that time of year again when speculation begins about everything Apple might announce at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Although the date for WWDC 2024 has not yet been finalized, Apple is likely to make a slew of software and hardware-related announcements as is customary. As in previous years, the event is expected to take place at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. If reports are to be believed, iOS 18 will likely be the focus of this year’s conference, with a slew of artificial intelligence (AI) upgrades, but there’s more to come. From iOS 18 to Mac Studio, here’s everything we expect to see at this year’s Apple WWDC 2024.

WWDC 2024 Anticipated Announcements

1.iOS 18 – Although not yet confirmed, iOS 18 is confirmed to be launched at WWDC 2024 and is likely to be one of the highlights. This is due to several AI upgrades underway. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says this could be one of the “biggest updates in iPhone history.” Apple could launch Siri powered by large language models (LLMs), and AI could be baked into apps like Music, Keynote, Pages and even AppleCare.

2. Other software- In addition to iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and HomePod Software 18 may also be released. In addition, Apple may also launch visionOS 2, which provides support for Apple Vision Pro headphones.

3. Mac Studio, Mac Pro and other devices – Like last year, Apple is likely to unveil a new generation of Mac devices, including the Mac Studio, Mac Pro, and Mac Mini, all of which may be powered by the new M3 chip. The iPhone maker also launched a 15-inch MacBook Air last year, but that launch is unlikely this time around as the M3-powered MacBook Air was launched earlier this month.
