Apple is now taking on OpenAI and Google with its AI image editor that can do whatever you want

Apple is now ready to launch advanced editing software, with artificial intelligence models that can edit content in photos by simply interpreting what you want to change in the image. Apple relied on the University of Education to establish an image editing language model called MGIE, or MLLM-Guided Image Editing. The model, developed by Apple in partnership with the University of California, Santa Barbara, can crop, resize and add filters to images using just text prompts.
