In its executive meeting today, the APNI party decided to intensify its political and public outreach activities in the valley.
The purpose of the meeting was to revive the performance of the party cadre and discuss the prevailing political situation and the matters of the internal party.
Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari presided over the meeting and urged his colleagues to be politically active in their respective constituencies and areas so that they should be closely connected to the public.
According to a press release issued here, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari presided over an extraordinary executive body meeting held at the party headquarters in Srinagar. The meeting was attended by prominent party leaders, who discussed the prevailing situation and shared their views on several important issues including major matters of the party.

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari urged party leaders and senior workers to intensify their activities.
He said, “In view of the upcoming ULB and Panchayat elections, it is necessary for you to be active in preparing people for participation in the Democratic process. Maintaining a close relationship with the public will also help to raise awareness about the party’s supporting agenda and policies.”
He said, “It is your responsibility to help people understand that the APNI party is for the protection of fundamental and democratic rights here. The main objective of the party is to strive for permanent peace, permanent prosperity and development in the region, while the economic and political empowerment of its people is also to carry forward.”
