US President Donald Trump expressed his concern over the growing situation between India and Pakistan and said he would offer any possible help to increase tension along the India-Pakistan border.
Speaking on the initiative terror attack on 22 April, Trump said that both India and Pakistan should work outside the crisis.
“Oh, this is very terrible! My situation I am meeting with both. I know both very well and I want to see them working. I want to stop them and hope they can stop now. They have got the title for Tat, so hopefully they can stop now. But I know that we are very good with both countries. [We have] Good relationship with both. And I want to stop it, ”he said.
“And if I can do anything to help, I will stay there,” said Trump.
Earlier in the day, US State Secretary Marco Rubio said that he was closely monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan after the Indian missile strikes at several sites in Pakistan.
In a statement posted on X (East Twitter), Rubio said, “I am closely monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan. I echo the comments of President Trump before today that it is expected that it will end quickly and continue to attach both Indian and Pakistani leadership towards a peaceful resolution.”
His comment follows President Donald Trump, who accepted the reports of Indian attacks in the first day and hoped that the tension would grow rapidly.
“We just heard about it because we were passing through the doors of the oval. Just heard about it. I thought people knew that something is going to happen on the basis of some past. They have been fighting for a long time. They have been fighting for many decades and centuries, in fact, if you think about it. I hope it will end up very quickly,” said “Trump” said.
The US State Department also addressed the situation, although it avoided making a detailed evaluation.
A spokesman told ANI, “We know about the reports, however, we have no evaluation to offer at this time. It remains a developed position, and we are closely monitoring development.” (AI)
