A joint statement read: “We are deeply saddened to confirm the tragic passing of two close friends and team members, Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele.
“Match Room boxing 258 BXG can confirm that Anthony was injured in the accident and was sent to the hospital for examination and treatment. He is currently in stable condition and will remain in the hospital for observation.
“Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to the families and friends of all those affected, and we ask that their privacy be respected at this extremely difficult time. There will be no further comment at this time.”
