Just a few weeks later, the streets of Brampton were once again rocked by gunfire. One person seriously injured in late night firing At the same address.
Neighbors told CityNews that shots were fired Wednesday morning at 8 Clifton Court, the same residence where Peel Regional Police responded to a shooting on Oct. 19. In that incident, a man in his 30s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Residents say they woke up to the sound of gunshots shortly after sunrise and later noticed a heavy police presence in the area. Several neighbors shared photos and video of officers at the scene with CityNews, though Peel Regional Police have not yet confirmed details of the reported incident or whether it is connected to the Oct. 19 shooting.
Neighbors described the house where the shooting took place as a new, expensive property with several high-end vehicles parked in the garage. Some residents also said that police had been called to the address before and the house was raided last year.
None of those claims have been verified by authorities.
