The Toronto police say that the owner of a hair salon, who has been working in the Annex sector for more than 20 years, has been arrested in connection with sexual harassment investigation.
The accused owns ‘Alex Cuts’ on Bloor Street West near Dalton Road.
Police allege that a male youth had gone to a salon in September 2023 for a haircut and was sexually assaulted by the accused. The same man went to the salon on 3 July, 2025 and the accused allegedly sexually assaulted the victim.
63 -year -old Alexander Ghorbani of Toronto was arrested on Thursday and two cases of sexual harassment were accused.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
The police have released a picture of Ghorbani and are worried that other alleged victims may be.
