Annamalai slam Kella CM Vijayan at Sabarimala Protection Sangam

Pandalam (Kerala), 22 September (IANS) Former Tamil Nadu BJP President of BJP. Annamalai on Monday inaugurated the Sabarimala Conservation Sangamam at Pandalam and attacked Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Earlier, the Travancore Devsom Board organized a global congregation of Ayyappa devotees as part of its Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which was inaugurated by Vijayan.

While it was held in Pandalam, which was held under the aegis of various Hindu organizations with full support of the Kerala unit of BJP.

Annamalai said that it was ironic that Vijayan, who once claimed that there is no God, is now organizing classes on the Bhagavad Gita. He said, “Those who once called Lord Ganpati a myth, they are now giving lectures about the scriptures,” he commented, the Chief Minister accused of double standards.

Referring to the protests during the Sabarimala dispute in 2018, Annamalai said, “What we saw then, we are now watching again in Pathamitit.”

He said that Ayyappa’s global congregation held in Kerala raised serious questions about who has been invited to represent the program.

Criticizing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Annamalai accused him of trying to reduce Sanatan Dharma.

He said that while DMK organized a global Murugan Sangam, the Kerala government organized Ayyappa’s global congregation.

“Neither Stalin nor Vijayan are eligible to lead such spiritual ceremonies,” he said.

Quoting the Bhagavad Gita, Annamalai said that it clearly states what kind of people will go to hell, saying that Pinarayi Vijayan fits that details.

The BJP leader said, “They should also study that part of the Gita. If he looks in the mirror, he will see the truth for himself.”
