Labor MP Emily Darlington, who campaigned on behalf of Tate’s alleged victims, said: “It is a travesty of justice that the Tate brothers have been allowed to roam freely around the world, while their alleged victims cannot even go on social media for fear of being harassed and their locations revealed.
“Too often, we see in our society that victims and survivors have limited lives while abusers escape justice.
Matt Jury of McCue & Partners, who is representing four women who brought a civil case against Tate, also urged Sir Keir to take action.
He said: “The UK Government has a golden opportunity this weekend Andrew Tate Caught in Dubai and eventually faced trial in Britain But we have seen time and again that the Labor Minister, for all his tough talk on tackling sexual violence against women, is reluctant to do what is necessary to ensure justice for women who have alleged that they were raped and assaulted by Tate.
He said: “If you want to teach boys about the dangers of misogyny, start by showing them that it can have consequences.”
