McLaren Accepted that there is a “at stake” British Team opens its review in the latest accident among the World Championship rivals Lando Noris And Oscar plate,
Noris and Piastry collided in the first lap of Sunday for the second time in this season SingaporeNoris finished third, to clean a place of piastry, to extract three points from his title lead. The British driver now moved Piastry to 22 points with 22 points with 174 points to play for the last six rounds.
Piastry was angry that McLaren did not instruct Noris to leave the place to break the so -called ‘Papaya Niyam’. McLaren said that Noris could not escape killing the piastry after Max Verustapane tagged behind the red bull.
However, Piastry felt that Noris did “S *** job” to avoid it, while Noris claimed a driver, who would not try a similar step “should not be in Formula One”.
McLaren team principal Andrea Stela said: “We evaluated ourselves and we decided that the correct syllabus of action is what we have taken, but the share of the process is our review which will be in the coming days.
“The review must be very detailed, very analytical, and it must take into account the approach of our two drivers.
“We will create a general opinion and we will see if it confirms our initial interpretation, or if something else we should calculate.
“But only in the context of ‘going to the gap’, it is, let’s have too much of a very thick approach. We need to maintain high levels of sophistication and expansion because there are many elements that you need to keep in mind and we need to ensure that we do not be too early to draw conclusions.
“We need to be accurate because there is a lot at stake, not only the championship points but the trust of our drivers and the way we work as a team.”
Noris ran after Piastry in Canada in June and immediately convicted the accident. The incident in Singapore is less than a month, when Piastry was shifted to Noris in the Italian Grand Prix, which was a slow-based decision for the Britain to a subsequent pit-stop, which also angered the piastry.
Stela continued: “It is a reminder that when you are running as a team, you cannot have exactly the same interest for two drivers because they want to pursue their aspirations.
“We want to protect this ‘race’ concept, and we know that as soon as you adopt this concept, you face difficulties.
“But I am very proud of the way Lando and Oscars have been part of this process so far because if we are able to navigate through these ‘difficult’ battles of racing, this is because we are lands and Oscars on the board, and they are great contributors and great people and that is why it has been very successful yet.
“We will have a good review, good conversation, and like after Canada, we will be strong and more united.”
