Chikkabalpura (Karnataka), 6 October (IANS) Karnataka Police has made tight security arrangements for the visit of Chintmani city of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan to Chintmani city in Chikkabalapur district. Thousands of fans from Kolar, Chikkabalapur, Bangalore rural areas and neighboring Anantpur district in Andhra Pradesh have stopped the venue.
Pawan Kalyan is participating in a private program in Chintmani. With strict security measures, heavy police have been deployed at the site. To prevent any unpleasant incidents, more than 1,500 police personnel have been deployed in the site and surrounding areas. The security system is being monitored by two SPs, three additional SPS and six dye SPs.
Chikkabalapur SP Kushal Choksi said that the entry is banned to pass holders. Every person entering the venue is being tightened with hand holding metal detectors (HHMD) and door-frame metal detectors (DFMD). In view of the possibility of fake pass being used, entry is allowed only after verifying the authenticity of the pass.
Pawan Kalyan has a major fan base in Karnataka, and her recent film ‘Way Call Ugi OG’ has become a superhit.
Pawan Kalyan’s active role has been widely appreciated in reducing the controversy over superhit ‘Kanta: Chapter 1’. Parts of the Telugu audience called for a boycott of ‘Kanta: Chapter 1’, alleging “promoting Kannada dominance” or destroying Telugu interests.
