Anantnag police raided the ongoing multi-goal fraud investigation

Srinagar, August 13, KDC: In Anantnag, police raided three places in the district on Wednesday, in which the ₹ 55 lakh wild garlic fraud registered under FIR No. 126/2025 police station Anantnag in connection with the ongoing investigation in the ongoing investigation.

Three accused are involved in the case – Tasaduk Hussain Dar, Abdul Gani Dar, and Mohammad Iqbal Wani – who is already in custody to run a sophisticated fraud racket. According to police, the three submerged several fake business undertakings to investors including real estate, fruit trade and a fake wild garlic enterprise.

His arrest earlier complained to a victim, alleging that he was a fraud of ₹ 55 lakh in a fraudulent wild garlic deal. Police said that the accused lured the victims with high returns promises and later a repayment was sought when criminal intimidation was resorted to.

Wednesday’s raid was done to collect more evidence and identify other potential victims or colleagues. “The case is being investigated as an organized financial offense, and all leads are being chased,” the officials said. (KDC)
