Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra shared a meme about Gen Beta, a term used to refer to people born between 2025 and 2039.
Sharing a post describing the names of various generations in “Pop Crave,” Mahindra highlighted Gen Beta, referring to the word Beta, which translates to son in Hindi.
“It’s the perfect title for India’s doting Hindi parents…
Now let the bad jokes fly…” Mahindra wrote on X.
What is Gen Beta?
Gen Beta is a term coined by Australian futurist and demographer Mark McCrindle. It refers to the population groups born between 2025 and 2039, the next generation after Alpha Generation, and those born between 2010 and 2024. The word Beta is the second letter of the Greek alphabet, after the first letter Alpha. In this way, Generation Beta replaced Generation Alpha demographically.
People born in the Beta generation are expected to make greater use of artificial intelligence. Their lives will be severely affected by environmental problems and climate change.

“Our sex ratio is going to get worse because everyone is going to be a beta.”
I think you’ll find these are better called mom jokes
