The photo was reposted nearly 20 times and posters often tagged the location of Trump Tower in Chicago.
According to court documents, Schneider was previously known to law enforcement.
In 2022, he was arrested for threatening to “shoot up” a T-Mobile store. The following year, he was found incompetent to stand trial.
In his alleged messages, Schneider mentioned he was “losing everything” and said his house was being auctioned.
According to law enforcement, his home is under foreclosure and an auction is scheduled for Tuesday.
The Justice Department said a “concerned citizen in Florida” saw one of Schneider’s videos and reported it to law enforcement.
