Amit Shah on June 30 presided over the ‘staging Baathak’ of UTS cooperation ministers.

The Union Ministry of Cooperation is set to organize the ‘staging Baathak’ of the Ministers of States and Center (UTS) at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on 30 June.

Manthan Bathk will be presided over by Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah.

Manthan Bathek will discuss all major initiatives including the establishment of 2 lakh new multi-purpose primary agricultural credit societies (PACS), dairy and fisheries cooperatives to strengthen the final-miles of rural service distribution.

A major attraction will be discussed in the world’s largest grain storage scheme in the cooperative sector, which aims to increase food security and farmers’ empowerment. State will also offer its progress under the “cooperation” campaign and ongoing “International Year 2025” of the ongoing “cooperation between cooperative societies”, as well as expectations for comprehensive engagement.

The role of states will also be reviewed in the three new National Multi-State Cooperative Societies, National Cooperative Export Limited (NCL), National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL), and Indian Beej Sahkari Samiti Limited (BBSSL) activities.

Discussions will expand the White Revolution 2.0 program and circularity and stability in the dairy region of India, which will be with the purchase support price for pulse and maize farmers under the self -reliance campaign.

Major digital transformational initiatives such as PACS computerization, and computerization of Registrar Cooperative Society (RCS) will be reviewed by the offices of states/UTS, which will pay special attention to the national cooperative database and its utility for policy planning.

In the light of the establishment of the Manthan Bathk Tribhuvan Cooperative University, we will discuss human resource development, training and capacity building in the cooperative sector.

The steps taken by the central government to strengthen the financial strengthening of the region will also be discussed, such as prevention of issues related to cooperative banks, operating the shared service unit (SSE) for State Cooperative Banks (STCBS) and District Central Cooperative Banks (DCCBS) and umbrella organization for urban cooperative banks (UCBS).
