Amidst political backlash, Nathan Philian of Canada says that the true power of Superman is hopeful

In the era of endless remakes and superhero fatigue, Nathan Phillian says that he is not sure that the world needs another Superman film. But it is certain that what it needs that new represents.

“I think all Superman repetitions had an incredible value. I love all of them. It takes back a comic books, what is for Superman, its very main idea: It’s about hope, it is about choosing kindness,” It is about choosing kindness, “Says actor born in Admonton, who plays Green Lentene at James Gun-Made.

“I think the message is on time now. Do we need another superman film? I don’t know, but do we need a message of hope and kindness? I would say yes.”

“Superman,” is the latest film to take Crypton’s last son, growing in theaters on Friday. The stars as the David Korenswate Titular Hero are a foreigner with a foreign powers trying to do good in a world that is rapidly doubting their objectives. In the form of distrust mounts, Tech Mogul Lex Luther, played by Nicolas Hult, exploits the lacquer, depicting Superman as a threat.

The film has recently faced a backlash from right -wing pundits after an interview, where Gunn told “The Sunday Times of London” that the story “An immigrant who came from other places” and can humiliate some as it focuses on “human kindness”. On the Fox News segment titled “Supervok”, hosts Kelineen Conway objected, arguing the audience, “Don’t go to lectures to go to the movie theater.”

Philion’s response to resentment is one of the sympathy.

“When I listen, I think someone needs to hug and to remember that it’s just a film,” he tells Los Angeles on a call on Wednesday.

“I mean, I saw the film. I don’t know how political it was.”

Nevertheless, Gunn’s film reflects the concerns of the real world: Luther is a powerful billionaire that draws government wires, divided by disintegration, and the story opens with a loped war between two fictional countries.

Green lantern joined in Superman, Hawkgirl of Isabella Merced and Mr. Terial of Eddie Gathegi – A trio of Metahumans known as Justice Gang, standing with them to protect humanity.

The first actor to bring the Gardner version of Philion Green Lactorn on a large screen is an arrogant, unpleasant fan-Fawrite, who is different from a more straightforward lantern such as Hell Jordan, painted by Ryan Reynolds in the 2011 film “Green Lanny”.

“What I like about him is the idea that you should not be good to become a green lantern. You just have to be fearless,” they say.

Philion, who made his debut on Soap “One Life to Live” and got the fame of the cult with the Jose Whadan’s initial-shooting drama “Jugnu”, at the beginning of his career he said that he turned to “innocent” characters as he had to be well liked.

“I was really really wrong about that,” they say.

“No person can belong to someone who is perfect, and no one likes the person who is perfect. We like those who are defective, because we can be related to him. We, we are all, flawed.”

That feeling has helped to shape Philian’s career, as he has played an attractively incomplete heroes, including a smog crime novelist of every person on the 2010 Drameli “Castle” and police procedural “The Roki”, who wrapped only his seventh season.

As Gardner, he plays a hairdu audience, cannot be used to see him: a blond bowl cut. Philion says he fought for the look as the producers considered other styles.

He says, “I was the bowl of the team. It’s a canon. I think if we did not do so, we were going to hear about it,” he says.

“It says a lot about the Guy Gardner. When you see a man walking on the road with a bowl cut, he doesn’t clearly care what you think.”

“Superman” is seen as a true kickoff for James Gun’s new DC Universe under his leadership at DC Studio.

Philion, who previously worked with guns on 2021’s “The Suicide Squad” and 2023’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3”, says he is in the new DCU. He will resume his role as Gardner in the upcoming series “Lantern” and in the second season of both the “Peacemaker” on Max.

He says that he will be ready to act in a stand-alon Justice Gang film.

“If I get a chance, I will ride it until it is in the ground. It will be fantastic,” they say.

Philion says that when he starts a new project, he always expects “no shock”, but Gunn is “incredible” in vetinguing those with whom he works. As a result, he forms a bond with many actors, which he “loves as people.”

“When I say this, they hate it, but we do not just walk away from friends. We walk away from super friends.”
