Amid the increasing tension between Israel and Iran, the Indian Embassy in Iran has asked all Indian citizens who are in Tehran and are not in touch with the embassy to contact the Embassy of India in Tehran immediately and provide their location and contact number.

The Indian Embassy has advised Indian citizens and individuals of the Indian origin (PIOS) who can go out of Tehran using their own resources to go to a safe place outside the city.
