The first batch of Shri Amarnath Yatra pilgrims returned to Jammu and Kashmir (JK) Udampur on Friday after visiting the holy cave.
Meanwhile, security arrangements in JK including Udhampur have been strengthened, as the annual pilgrimage moves through the Baltal and Pahgam routes.
The annual pilgrimage, which began on Thursday, is being organized through Baltal and Pahalgam routes. The Jammu-Srinagar highway is an important route for thousands of pilgrims visiting the holy site.
In Doda, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has intensified the security system with repeating their commitment to ensure the safety of pilgrims and to eliminate any terrorist threats.

In Kishtwar, Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Mehta told ANI that strong security measures have been kept along the Kishtwar-Batot route, including four posts on NH 244, including the main checkpoint in the bagger.

Meanwhile, the second batch of pilgrims left from Nanwan Base Camp on Friday morning. Devotees praised the arrangements and expressed confidence in security measures.
